OFFICIAL OPENING OF BAHÇEŞEHİR UNIVERSITY HONG KONG OFFICE Bahçeşehir University is proud to announce the Hong Kong Office is open.
BAU Hong Kong Office, a branch of Bahçeşehir University, is now open to serve BAU students, with its opening ceremony held on 28 February 2013. The Office was delighted to have Prof. Dr. Şenay YALCIN, President of BAU and Mr. Coskun INCE, member of the Board of the Trustees, to attend the opening ceremony.
Meanwhile, Dr. Kelvin Leung, Director of BAU Hong Kong Campus, delivered a speech to welcome all the distinguished guests from a variety of professions during this celebratory event. The Office was also honored to invite world-renowned Chinese artist Mr. Nigel Szeto to demonstrate his talent during the ceremony. He dazzled the audience with beautiful Chinese paintings.

As the first BAU Study Abroad Unit in eastern Asia, the Hong Kong Office is a newly established branch of the university. The Office is founded under BAU’s unique and visionary education model “World is My Campus”. It aims to serve as a bridge between BAU and other tertiary institutions in Hong Kong and China. It offers BAU students an opportunity to study designated courses and join internship programs in the city. It also hopes to collaborate with universities and industries in China to organize workshops and visits, so as to facilitate academic and practical knowledge exchange among students as well as the industry professionals.
