國家科技部支持澳大科研發展
Ministry of Science and Technology expresses support for UM’s research

科技部副部長曹健林十月三十一日率中國科學技術代表團一行二十多人到澳門大學參觀訪問，瞭解澳大及其兩所國家重點實驗室的發展。曹健林指澳大近五年在學術科研、排名上獲得令人驚喜的成績，支持澳大繼續發展科研，希望澳大能引領澳門走向經濟產業多元化。

參訪團一行獲澳大校長趙偉教授、副校長（研究）兼模擬與混合信號超大規模集成電路國家重點實驗室主任馬許願教授等熱情接待。趙偉介紹了澳大的發展，新校園的規劃、現況和機遇，馬許願也詳細介紹了重點實驗室的研究方向、研究成果、人才培養以及各項合作項目等。

訪問團參觀了澳大伍宜孫圖書館、行政樓、大學會堂、學院及住宿式書院等建築，期間，曹健林對澳大喬遷之喜表示祝賀，十分欣賞澳大四位一體的教育模式，相信澳大在嶄新的起點上會有更好的發展。

另外，中央統戰部副部長林智敏與江西省副省長朱虹同日也先後率團參觀澳大。

澳大校長趙偉向代表團介紹澳大總體規劃及科研發展

Ministry of Science and Technology expresses support for UM’s research

A delegation led by Deputy Director of the Ministry of Science and Technology Cao Jianlin and Ministry of Science and Technology’s Office of Hong Kong, Macao, and Taiwan Affairs Director Ma Linying today (31 October) visited the University of Macau (UM). The delegation was warmly received by UM Rector Wei Zhao, Vice Rector (Research) and State Key Laboratory of Analog and Mixed-Signal VLSI Director Rui Martins.

Rector Wei Zhao told the guests about UM’s latest developments, master plan of the new campus, and opportunities brought by the new campus. Vice Rector Rui Martins explained the research direction of UM’s two state-key labs, UM’s recent research achievements, and collaboration projects with other institutions.
The delegation visited UM Wu Yee Sun Library, the Administrative Building, the University Hall, as well as the various faculties and residential colleges. Cao noted that UM has attained impressive achievements in scientific research and global rankings in the past five years. He expressed support for UM’s research and hopes that UM can play a leading role in promoting industrial diversification of Macao.
