第十屆香港亞洲電影投資會(HAF)於二零一二年三月二十二日正式公佈二零一二年各大獎項得獎名單,包括「香港亞洲電影投資會大獎」、「HAF劇本發展基金」、「HAF/FOX華語電影開創大獎」、「Technicolor亞洲大獎」、「Network of Asian Fantastic Films大獎」、「紀念博偉達亞洲電影計劃大獎」以及「Paris Project大獎」。頒獎典禮假灣仔The East之VIEW62 by Paco Roncero餐廳隆重舉行。
今年HAF昂然踏入第十屆,出席的名人賓客包括多位著名電影工作者及HAF的與會者,包括陳可辛及何宇恆等,星光熠熠,一同見證HAF最輝煌的一刻。
香港國際電影節協會總監高思雅先生表示:「參與HAF的人數逐年穩步上升,令HAF成為各地電影投資者、製片人及發行商一個重要的交流平台。HAF成功為一眾具有前瞻視野及專注電影發展的人士建立橋樑,貢獻亞洲電影工業,實現不同的電影計劃,為亞洲及全世界的觀眾帶來無窮無盡的精彩娛樂,以至文化體驗。」
第十屆HAF新增了「HAF/FOX華語電影開創大獎」,藉以推動華語電影發展。首屆獎項由《罪無可恕》(香港) 奪得,本片除可獲得港幣$100,000現金獎(約美元$12,820)外,更與二十世紀福斯國際製作公司(「福斯」)簽訂「劇本開發協議」;而其他入圍計劃亦有機會與福斯簽訂「優先合作協議」。
今屆「香港亞洲電影投資會大獎」香港區的得主為曾國祥及尹志文執導之《麥樂倫事件》,而海外地區的得主為中國導演萬瑪才旦執導之《氣球》。這兩部電影分別獲得港幣$150,000現金獎(約美元$19,230)。
「HAF劇本發展基金」的得獎者為趙曄執導之《獵狗》(中國),該片贏得港幣$100,000現金獎(約美元$12,820)。基金目的為鼓勵同業創作更多出色的華語電影劇本。
「紀念博偉達亞洲電影計劃大獎」的得主為Kamila ANDINI執導之《The Seen and Unseen》(印尼),該片可獲得由博偉達電影基金會 (Wouter Barendrecht Film Foundation)、創意香港及香港電影發展基金撥出港幣$50,000現金獎(約美元$6,410)。 「Technicolor 亞洲大獎」 的得獎者為陳翠梅執導之《狀元圖》(中國),該片亦可獲得由泰國曼谷 Technicolor Asia 送出的非現金贊助,總值為港幣$195,000 (約美元$25,000) 。
「Network of Asian Fantastic Films大獎」的得獎者為陳駿霖執導之《下午茶》(台灣),可獲價值港幣$21,060(約美元$2,700)之非現金大獎 ,以及獲邀出席富川國際奇幻電影節的Network of Asian Fantastic Films 2012。
「Paris Project大獎」的香港區得獎者為曾翠珊執導之《河上變村》,而海外地區的得主為格溫達辛格執導之《The Fourth Direction》 (印度)。這兩部電影均可獲邀出席Paris Cinema國際電影節的 Paris Project 2012。
高思雅先生表示:「對HAF來說,2012是充滿突破的一年。無論入圍及會議之多,各個電影計劃的水準皆出類拔萃。回顧歷屆參與HAF的作品,我們深信HAF今後將繼續百尺竿頭,更進一步,並且繼續擔當促進融資電影發展成功的重要角色。」

The HAF Award this year went to The MacLennan Affair by Derek TSANG and Jimmy WAN
The 10th Hong Kong - Asia Film Financing Forum (HAF) announced the winners of the HAF Awards, the HAF Script Development Fund, the HAF/FOX Chinese Film Development Award, the Technicolor Asia Award, the Network of Asian Fantastic Films Award, the Wouter Barendrecht Award, and the Paris Project Award at a ceremony held at VIEW62 by Paco Roncero, The East today.
This year’s HAF is the milestone 10th edition, attending guests include renowned filmmakers and HAF alumni like Peter CHAN and HO Yu-Hang, marking the most memorable year of the HAF to date as a star-studded event.
The consistent growth in participation at the HAF has made it a uniquely important platform for the investors, filmmakers and distributors,” says Roger GARCIA, Executive Director of the Hong Kong Film Festival Society, organizer of the HAF. “It forms a bridge between the most dedicated and forward-looking people from the industry, contributing to the development of the Asian film industry and realizing film projects that go on to bring great enjoyment to cinema audiences across Asia and the world.”
The Paris Project Award was presented to Flowing Stories by TSANG Tsui-Shan
The 10th HAF also marks the launch of the first annual HAF/FOX Chinese Film Development Award. A new initiative to further boost film production in the region, this first awardee was Two Graves (Hong Kong), taking home a cash prize of HK$100,000 (approximately US$12,820) and a Development Contract from FOX International Productions (Greater China) Ltd. (FOX). Other finalists may be offered a First Look Agreement with FOX.
The HAF Award this year went to The MacLennan Affair by Derek TSANG and Jimmy WAN for a project originating in Hong Kong, and Balloon (China) by Pema Tseden, for a project originating outside of Hong Kong. Both films were awarded cash prizes of HK$150,000 each (approximately US$19,230 each).
The HAF Script Development Fund was awarded to A Night of Their Own (China) by ZHAO Ye with a cash prize of HK$100,000 (approximately US$12, 820). The Fund is aimed at encouraging the creation of quality Chinese-language screenplays.
The winner of the Wouter Barendrecht Award was The Seen and Unseen (Indonesia) by Kamila ANDINI. The winner was awarded a cash prize of HK$50,000 (approximately US$6,410) by the Wouter Barendrecht Film Foundation, Create Hong Kong and Hong Kong Film Development Fund.
The Technicolor Asia Award was presented to Imperial Exam (China) by TAN Chui- Mui. The film was awarded an in-kind prize worth US$25,000 (approximately HK$195,000) by Technicolor Asia, Bangkok.
The Network of Asian Fantastic Films Award went to Afternoon Delight! (Taiwan)by Arvin CHEN. The winning project won an award of US$2,700 (approx. HK$21,060), and an invitation to participate in the Network of Asian Fantastic Films 2012 at the Puchon International Fantastic Film Festival.
Finally, the Paris Project Award was presented to Flowing Stories by TSANG Tsui-Shan for a project originating in Hong Kong, and The Fourth Direction (India) by Gurvinder SINGH, for a project originating outside of Hong Kong. Both films were awarded an invitation to participate in the Paris Project 2012 at the Paris Cinema International Film Festival.
“2012 has been a record-breaking year for the HAF,” said Mr. GARCIA, “in both number of entries and meetings, and the quality of the projects has been exceptional. Considering the calibre of the projects at the HAF through the years right up to today, we can be sure that the HAF will continue to go from strength to strength, and continue to play a vital role in fostering co-production in this part of the world and beyond.”
