布魯塞爾是比利時首都，亦是該國最大城市。由於歐洲委員會和歐盟理事會都位於布魯塞爾，所以該市素有「歐洲之都」的稱謂。現今的布魯塞爾是歐洲重要的國際城市之一，而該市是雙語城市，法語和荷蘭語。布魯塞爾的法語是Bruxelles，荷蘭語是Brussel。隨着外來移民及國際遊客的陸續增加，英語在當地也很普及，而布魯塞爾的英語是Brussels。

Brussels is the capital and also the biggest city of Belgium. Brussels is the de facto capital of the European Union, as it hosts a number of principal EU institutions, including its administrative-legislative, executive-political, and the European Parliament.
Historically Dutch-speaking, Brussels saw a language shift to French from the late 19th century. The Brussels-Capital Region is officially biilingual in French and Dutch, even though French is now the de facto main language with over 90% of the population speaking it. Brussels is also increasingly becoming multilingual. English is spoken as a second language by nearly a third of the population and many migrants and expatriates speak other languages as well.
Brussels is known for its cuisine and gastronomy, as well as its historical and architectural landmarks; some of them are registered as UNESCO World Heritage sites. Main attractions include its historic Grand Place, Manneken Pis, Atomium, and cultural instituations such as La Monnaie/De Munt and the Museums of Art and History.

一、歐洲總部 – 貝爾萊蒙大廈 (Berlaymont Building)

布魯塞爾不單是歐洲的政治中心、交通重要樞紐，而且是普受國際遊客歡迎的旅遊目的地，每年吸引數以千萬計的國內外遊客。在眾多的旅遊景點當中，「布魯塞爾大廣場及在廣場中心的布魯塞爾市政廳」於一九八八年入選「世界文化遺產」，是當地的主要旅遊景點之一。在這「大廣場」一帶食肆林立，但以意大利餐館為主，也有數間中菜餐廳及越南菜館。不過，欲嘗較正宗中菜，還是到當地唐人街的中餐廳較佳，味道好、份量夠，且價錢較合理。

二、布魯塞爾大廣場建築群 (Grand Place)

三、當地餐廳大都推銷海產菜式，其「白酒燴青口」更是代表菜式之一。歐洲人點選這菜式配薯條，非常可口。當地人教我吃了第一個青口的肉後，留用那青口殼作鉗用，夾其後的青口肉來吃，乾淨快捷。不過也要提醒一些酒量淺的食客，該菜式酒的份量頗重，吃完整盤青口，可能會令人醉，切記！

四、尿尿小童雕像 (Le Petit Julien)是布魯塞爾的地標之一，位於市中心步行區。這雕像身高約五十三公分，原本的雕像有四百年歷史，現存放在布魯塞爾城市博物館，而在這裡展出的雕像是複製品，平日小童像是全裸的，但遇到一些節日，例如聖誕節，小童便會穿上聖誕服飾。

五、聖彌額爾聖古都勒主教座堂(St. Michael and St. Gudula Catherdral)
該教堂於十三世紀時，主教座堂被翻新為哥德式，而唱經樓在一二二六年至一二七六年間興建，整體於十五世紀中葉完成。

六、布魯塞爾市容

旅遊布魯塞爾除參觀當地的旅遊景點、欣賞歷史文化建築外，現代的布魯塞爾也有與時並進的一面，其巧克力和啤酒是馳名國際的，而比利時鑽石更是世界一流，若經濟條件許可，不妨在旅遊時順道選購自用或饋贈親友，不枉此行！
