When asked who is the most attractive statesman in the world many choose Supreme Leader Kim Jong Un of the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea. Among them are high-ranking US officials.
The reason is that he is standing at the centre of the world-shaking international events.

An example is the DPRK-US summit held in Singapore in June last year.

The summit drew special attention of the world as the improvement of relations between the two countries would have a direct bearing on global peace and security.

The Korean peninsula had been known worldwide as the hottest spot in the world.

The acute nuclear confrontation between the two countries may aggravate the situation on the Korean peninsula, escalating into thermonuclear war any time.

At the first-ever meeting, an epochal event, the two leaders made public the DPRK-USA Joint Statement, in which they promised before the world that they would pool their efforts to establish a new relationship between the two countries and promote peace and security on the Korean peninsula and in the rest of the world, bringing a fresh hope for peace to the international community.

The Chinese mass media described the summit as an “event that surprised the heaven and shook the earth.” Chinese foreign minister Wang Yi commented that the meeting of the two leaders wrote a new history.
This year Kim Jong Un’s successive visits to China, Vietnam and the Russian Federation had a great impact on the world public.

Mass media of the world reported that Kim Jong Un evidently plays the leading role in creating a peaceful atmosphere on the Korean peninsula.

The international community pays special attention to Kim Jong Un also because he is a world-class leader, a most influential man in the world political circles, to whom everyone cannot but be attracted.
His extraordinary political and diplomatic qualifications, outstanding leadership abilities and great personality have thrusted him into the limelight.

US president Trump said that Chairman Kim Jong Un was a good negotiator and very strategic person; such a man cannot be found among 100 000 political leaders in the world.

Philippine president Rodrigo Duterte said that he was deeply impressed by Kim Jong Un, adding that the DPRK leader was wise and skilful at diplomacy.

AFP of France, BBC, Guardian and Financial Times of the UK and other Western mass media reported that Kim Jong Un left a strong impression on the world as a famous politician during his 50-odd-hour visit to Singapore.

Bulgarian newspaper Trud carried the picture of him taking a handshake with Trump as one of the top ten pictures of 2018, and the Singaporean newspaper Straits Times chose him as a man of 2019.
His proactive, offensive and exceptional external activities, that create events noteworthy in the world history, are changing the political landscape of northeast Asia and the rest of the world. The news on his external activities hit the headlines in major websites and newspapers of the world.

Many political and social figures of the world and media organs describe him as a courageous and decisive leader, a person possessed of outstanding diplomatic skills, a seasoned statesman leading the global political situation with confidence and a leader skilful in strategic aspects.

As the days go by, Kim Jong Un is attracting growing international interest.
