KIM JONG UN has put forward the highest goal and a grand plan for the building of a thriving nation.

Early in April 2013 he examined the layout plan of the Munsu Water Park which would be built in Pyongyang. After carefully examining it, he told the officials that the water slides to be installed at the park were insufficient and some more should be set up there. The officials were surprised, because it envisaged setting up far more slides than in the so-called modernly-equipped water parks of foreign countries which have five to seven water slides at the most. To them, he said that some more slides, and that with dizzying heights and more complicated shapes, should be set up so that young people sensitive to new approaches would like. He continued to say that we should build every structure to make it lead the world. Thus, 14 modern water slides were installed at the Munsu Water Park, making it as a world-class one.

Not only the Munsu Water Park but also the Mirim Riding Club, the Masikryong Ski Resort and other world-class structural creations as intended by KIM JONG UN who puts forward the highest goal in carrying on any project, have been built one after another in the DPRK. Defining that the single-hearted unity, invincible military strength and the industrial revolution of a new century make precisely a thriving socialist country, he set the high target for building the country into an economic power and also a socialist cultured country, and then within a few coming years into a sports power.

KIM JONG UN is leading the building of a thriving nation to advance at a leaping pace on the strength of great unity between the army and the people.

At the end of May 2013 he visited the Masikryong Ski Resort under construction in the eastern part of the country. He highly praised the feats of the soldier-builders who had already carried out in no more than one year nearly half of the assignments scheduled in the giant project, though other people could not finish them even within ten years. Some days later he sent an appeal to complete the project unconditionally within the year by creating the Masikryong speed by dint of great army-people unity.

In carrying out other gigantic projects such as reclaiming Sepho Tableland in the eastern part of the country into a large stockbreeding base and laying out the capital city and other provinces to go well with the appearance of a socialist cultured country, the Korean leader always pointed out their importance and instructed that they should be conducted by the general mobilization and concerted efforts of the army and the people.

His firm belief in extraordinary might of great army-people unity and unexcelled leadership to inspire them greatly to the building of a thriving socialist nation brought about great innovations and upsurges all over the country.

In the dynamic advance towards the goal of a thriving nation, the service personnel are always taking the lead and the people modeling themselves after the formers’ spirit and work style, performing miraculous achievements. Many factories and enterprises surpassed the records of their peak production years and the agricultural sector strove to hit the highest goal of grain production. The service personnel played the vanguard role in completing the construction projects of gigantic structures in only one year or even in a few months. Among them are the Rungna People’s Recreation Ground, Ryugyong Heath Complex, People’s Open-air Ice Rink, Roller Rink, Breast Tumour Institute of the Pyongyang Maternity Hospital and other structures which were inaugurated in 2012, and many other architectural structures including the Unha Scientists Street, Munsu Water Park, Mirim Riding Club, Ryugyong Dental Hospital and Okryu Children’s Hospital that were opened to public in 2013.

KIM JONG UN’s art of leadership with which he unites the service personnel and people as one and works out miracles in the building of a thriving nation is greatly striking the international community with admiration.

KIM JONG UN continues to provide on-site guidance so as to bring about a new turn in the building of a thriving nation.

One day in July 2013 he told officials that he was making his on-site guidance tours, boarding and lodging in train, like Chairman KIM JONG IL of the National Defence Commission had done in his lifetime, to build a thriving socialist nation and that he was accustomed to it .

His on-site guidance to the economic and cultural sectors and other relevant units is endless, indeed. Between May and June 2013 alone, he inspected over 60 units. He visited the construction projects of the Munsu Water Park and Masikryong Ski Resort on several occasions, acquainted himself with the details of the progress and took necessary steps. He himself went over 113 layout plans of the Munsu Water Park and visited its construction site three times in one month of September.

It is the reality in the DPRK that tremendous changes are made everywhere KIM JONG UN visited.

Under the unexcelled leadership of KIM JONG UN the DPRK will accomplish with credit the cause of building a thriving nation in the near future.
